Management

The management looks after the Central Coast Conservatorium’s affairs and governs it. It has 4 elected offices bearers which include President, Vice President, Secretary and a treasurer. The committee elects 5 ordinary members of the conservatorium during the Annual General Meeting every year. An appointed nominee fills another position to represent conservatorium tutors.

The conservatorium is dedicated towards engaging learners and inculcating music as an integral part of life through music education. The Children Music Program (CMP) is a sequential and developmental program which is based on Kodaly’s teachings and has been developed by experienced teachers who have expertise in teaching music to the young ones. The classes are fun and they operate in a happy and welcoming environment. The children in the conservatorium are encouraged to participate in different activities individually and as a part of the group. This nurtures creativity and their imagination and also instills in them a love of music. Children’s involvement in music enriches children’s life and they develop aesthetic sense.
