Central Coast Conservatorium: A Creative Music School

Central Coast Conservatorium is a creative music school, which offers students a comprehensive step-by-step knowledge of music lessons. Any person irrespective of age having a zeal for learning music can enroll in the program and get benefited. Students are taught how to use musical instruments and perform solo and in a group. The Conservatorium is a member of the Association of NSW Regional Conservatorium and is funded by local community and assisted by State Government. It is a network of 16 conservatoriums that are located in different areas of New South Wales.

The Conservatorium is managed by a team of 4 elected office bearers which include:
  • President
  • Vice-president
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
School of Music

The committee also elects five ordinary members during Annual General Meeting held once a year, there is an appointed nominee too who fills another position and he represents the tutors of Conservatorium. The Conservatorium dedicatedly engages learners and focuses in inculcating music as an integral part of life through education and learning. CMP, known as Children Music Program is a developmental program based on Kodaly’s teachings. The program has been developed by experienced teachers who know how to make children learn. Classes at this Creative Music School are fun and operate in a welcoming environment, where students irrespective of their age learn music. It helps in nurturing creativity and takes their imagination to a new level, by instilling a love of music. It directly affects their life and develops aesthetic sense.
